About Us

Dr. Torres is a Flathead Valley Native attending Montessori, Trinity Lutheran Elementary and graduating from Flathead High School in 1994.  He remained in Kalispell attending FVCC before transferring to the University of Montana, receiving his Bachelor’s degree in 2001.  He was then accepted into Western States Chiropractic College of Portland, OR in 2002 and after four years on the west coast returned home to Montana.  He opened Blacktail Chiropractic Clinic in downtown Kalispell spring of 2006.  During 2007 and 2008 Dr. Torres also offered his services two days a week in Columbia Falls, working closely with a variety of practitioners at the Imagine Health Clinic.

Dr. Torres has always enjoyed being an active member in the Flathead Valley community.  Such as coaching boys basketball at various levels for many years including rotary and 7th and 8th graders at Cayuse Prairie and Linderman.  He has also been very active in local theatre productions on both the FVCC theatre and Bigfork stage.

In addition to having been in business for over three years now Jazper has again become active in the community he loves.  He is the first ever freshman boys basketball coach at Glacier High School with two successful seasons now under his belt.  Coach Torres recently has also made several appearances on the FVCC theatre stage.  Most recently for the Grand Opening show, “The Boys Next Door,” of the new theatre building at FVCC in 2007.  In his off time he enjoys all the outdoor activities the Flathead has to offer and cherishes his time with his wife, Amanda of Columbia Falls and their daughter Nyah.

The  art of medicine consists of amusing the patient while nature cures the disease.
